A modest increase in iron ore production in the world is forecasted until 2028
30 August 2019, 09:03
According to all forecasts, the production of iron ore around the world by 2029 will grow slightly - only up to three billion tons. Currently, this indicator has lingered up to 2.8 billion tons. This verdict was issued by the Fitch Solutions macroeconomic research center.
Such an increase is a slowdown, if we compare it with the average growth rate of production and production from 2009 to 2018
Mining companies from China will have to cut production in the next decade due to a drop in ore content. At the same time, growth is expected in India and Brazil as a result of the abolition of export duties on low-grade ores in the Union budget.
