Shipments of Russian ferrous scrap increased in June. The current export volume is 590 thousand tons. These statistics were provided by the customs service. Compared to the previous month, export grew by 31%, and year on year - by 17.5%. Despite such a significant increase, the total annual export in 2019 is significantly lower than in the previous year and earlier. Turkey holds a large share of all supplies, but in 2019, the export of black scrap to this state decreased by 15%. Along with this, the average price for Russian scrap of ferrous metals has decreased, now it is $ 259 per ton.
